Mobile Month Titles

I have this installed and running – however I noticed that on mobile devices the month names are a bit too long for the areas they are in.

Is there a way to truncate the month names to Dec, instead of December, and Oct, instead of October (this would apply to all month titles) I guess the same would apply to day name structure also.

Hopefully this would alleviate the naming structure outrunning the smaller containers.
