• Hi,

I have trouble getting the mobile menu to work. As soon as I use a device with a resolution lower the given value of 480 px, the original menu changes to the reduced mobile menu. Ok so far…
When I then click menu items that link to anchors on my one pager website, I receive a blank black screen… Sometimes it seems to work though, but it’s far from stable…

    Any thoughts?

  • Hi PadberX

Anchor items should show an arrow on the far right, clicking the arrow takes you to a new page of links within the mobile menu. Clicking the anchor item itself should take you to that page itself. If the anchor / parent menu item doesn’t have a page associated with it then it’s best to add it as a link menu item and remove the url. I go over that method here:

    Hope that helps.

    Hi Misplon,

hmm, seems I didnt make my point clear. The issue is not the navigational process itself of the mobile menu, but the result when I click the menu items that should link to the anchor posititions: black pages on my mobile…

Meanwhile, I implemented a workaround that I found in another thread of the forum (replace /#anchorname by /?location=1#anchorname) which works ok.

I will check from time to time if the “normal” link format also works.

Ahh right. This is a long standing problem with the mobile menu. We fixed it in the latest Vantage update. Are you on version x.3?
