My mobile hamburger menu cannot trigger and open on the homepage; clicking anywhere locks the entire page, but I can still click to enter articles. On article pages, the mobile menu triggers slowly and sometimes does not work. I have tried disabling some caching plugins, such as Redis Object Cache and Proxy Cache Purge, but the issue persists.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @manzoo

I see that you’re running multiple caching solutions at the same time which could affect how things work. Can you get all of these fully disabled so that I could assess the site unmodified?

    Thanks!

@cteduard I have disabled Redis Object Cache, Proxy Cache Purge, and WP Rocket. Please check if you can assess the site unmodified now. ??

    Hello @manzoo

From what I see, the mobile menu works perfectly now. Can you also confirm from your end?

    Thanks.

    Hi @cteduard

Everything seems to be working fine now, thank you so much. One more question: If I want to enable WP Rocket again, do I need to configure anything to prevent this issue from happening again? (I have re-enabled WP Rocket, and the mobile menu seems to be working fine now.)

    Hello @manzoo

This would confirm that these caching services might be fighting with each other. It isn’t a good idea to have multiple solutions running at the same time, as they can cause conflicts.

It may be required to start small and build your way up. Most of WP Rocket’s features should work with our software, as we are not blocking anything from our side.

    Thanks!

@cteduard Sorry to tag you again. The mobile menu that was previously working is now broken again. I haven’t added any new plugins. Currently, the mobile menu works fine on the homepage, but it doesn’t function on article pages or category pages. Would you be able to help me fix this issue?

    Hello @manzoo

This should be simple to determine. Does the mobile menu work with all caching/optimisation solutions disabled?

    Thanks.

@cteduard After enabling WP Rocket’s safe mode, the mobile menu is now working again. I will continue to monitor the site to see if it remains stable. Thank you very much for your prompt response!

    Hello @manzoo

This would confirm that there’s a configuration issue with the plugin. You may want to follow this article: https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/docs/troubleshooting/the-case-of-over-optimising-your-website/, to see which options are good to turn on for our software.

    Thanks.
