I just update the OceanWP to the latest version.
However this update shows the mobile menu even in Desktop view. How to fix this?

Hello, can you update to OceanWP 1.5.7 and tell me if you still have issues?

    I have the same issue!
    Theme 1.5.7 version.

    Same problem here

Hello, clear your cache. Also, if you have disabled a script go to Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, then clear your cache and that will fix the issue.

I have the same problem (since today, I think it occurred after the previous update):

    1. mobile icon does not disappear in desktop view.
    2. I’ve the latest version of WordPress
    3. I’ve saved changes in Scripts & Styles
    4. Then cleared my cache

And NOTHING changed; the icon is still visible under the desktop menu in the header.

    FYI:
    Browser: Chrome (latest version)
    Theme: OceanWP (latest version)

Hi @niquik, I have answered to the other topic.

Hi, I have installed 1.5.8 as stated at the top and I still have the same problem: the mobile menu appears on the desktop. Everything worked fine until 1.5.6 – what’s been changed?!?

    Hi @jfproulx,
This worked for me (thanks to theme author):

If you use a child theme, then switch to the parent theme to check if that solves it. If so, it is one of the files that you have added to your child theme. Copy the new file from the new OceanWP (parent) and add your changes in it.

Activate your child theme, go to Theme Panel > Import/Export, click the export button, activate the parent theme, go back to the Import/Export page and import the json file.

    Hello @jfproulx, exactly as @niquik said ??
If you have added files in your child theme like mobile or header files, take the new ones, add your changes in them and that will fix the issue.
What has changed is just the mobile class instead of an ID so the css needs to be cleared and the files edited.

    Hi there

I use oceanWP 1.5.9, did all the steps you wrote, have no child theme, but the mobile menu does not disappear on the desktop view.

I did not have time to look into anything so when I logged in, I updated to 1.5.9 and cleared all caches: the Mobile menu had disappeared from the desktop version. Thank you for the quick assistance and updates.

    @pbruderer: Maybe clear the caches?

I cleared all browser caches, server cache, no success.

Hi @pbruderer, if you have disabled any script, go to Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, click Save Changes, then clear your cache.
