Mobile menu showing X with a box around it

So I’m using the OceanWP theme (free) and the mobile menu looks fine in desktop, but as soon as I view it on my phone the mobile menu has an x with a box around it instead of the three line “hamburger” menu. It looks like the image/font isn’t being displayed, thus the x. Thoughts?
