Mobile menu not showing correctly

    HI Guys

    I,M having some issues with my mobile menu for max mega menu.
    It all started when I installed the latest edition of vw themes sirat pro to replace the older version of sirat pro which was out of licence.

    After installing it there were a few issues I had to resolve to make my site look like it did prior to instaling the latest sirat pro, on checking the mobile site on an iphone 5s the hamburger menu was missing and also missing on tablets as well??

    Contacted support for vw themes, not very helpfull, eventualy told me to create open / close icons in the interactive devices section of the themes, this opened the mobile menu but the dropdown is squashed into a 5 mm x 5 mm box on screen and the rest of the menu appears to be shifted off the screen to the right???

    I have tried altering settings in the max mega menu mobile settings bit but can’t seem to fathom it out??

    Any body know what the issue is and how to fix it please????????????????

  • I don’t have a solution but also a mobile problem…
    After updating the Generatepress theme the mobile menu is changed: it looks like the items in the menu are pushed down when scrolling down at the page.

    This also started after an update of a theme, and only on mobile. Is there a similarity with the above problem?

    Joe, I’ve had a look and it’s not easy to fix the mobile menu with your theme set up how it is at the moment. I’ve installed the free Sirat theme locally and the mobile menu looks like this:

    Can you change your theme options back so it looks like it does in the above screenshot? It should be easier to fix then.

    Thanks for the reply, I cant change the theme back to how you suggest as it will mess my site up and anoy our members.

    I notice for other themes you supply custom css to insert into the theme customisation to correct similar problems would this be the way to fix it?

    Hi Joe,

    I’m happy to supply the CSS, but I’d need to see the theme using the default mobile option, the one you have at the moment is too complex to override.

    Otherwise your best option might be to hide the theme mobile menu system and use a different plugin for your mobile menu instead (Responsive Menu and ShiftNav are both good and free).

    Thanks for the help I went for option two and used another mobile plugin and disabled the themes mobile menu as well, all now works fine.
