    Hello Hive!

My site was cruising along with auto-update enabled for Elementor but, at some point, the “hamburger menu” disappeared. I did the usual fault finding (cleared caches, deactivated all plugins, changed theme, etc, etc) but didn’t have any luck until I started rolling back Elementor versions. Seems my mobile menu disappeared for the first time in 3.18 and I can’t see it if I install any newer versions than that. Is it a known issue? Can I report a bug somewhere?

Hi, @mrmacca. Thanks for sharing the URL and for taking the initial troubleshooting steps. I can see that while the menu is clickable, it is not visible on the front end.

If you have not done so, please try the following:

    • Disable all Elementor features (Elementor > Settings > Features). If it helps, enable features one by one to isolate the one that is causing the issue.
    • Regenerate the CSS: https://elementor.com/help/regenerate-css-data/.
    • If applicable, temporarily disable any custom code being applied to the header/page.

If this doesn’t help, try changing the CSS Print Method:

    1. In the WP Admin, go to Elementor>Settings>Advanced and check the CSS Print Method.
    2. If it is set to External File, set it to Internal File. If it is set to Internal File, set to External File.
    3. Test to see if this resolves the issue.

Let us know how it goes.

    Kind Regards,

@aracelil thank you for the steps. Unfortunately it didn’t work, I still have the same issue. The site is now running with all features disabled, regenerated CSS and CSS print method set to Internal Embedding, but the issue remains.

    Anything else I can try?

    Hello @mrmacca!

I’m sorry you keep struggling with this situation.
I was cehcking your site and it seems you rolled-back to a previous version of Elementor.

If you want to keep debugging this situation, let’s take a look at if this could be a conflict with your theme or plugins.

Please follow these steps, and let me know if it solved your issue:

    • Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin.
    • Switch your current theme to WordPress Twenty Twentyfour (or another default WordPress theme) temporarily – and see if it solves your error.

I hope this information helped you.

    Kind regards,

    Hi @alainelementor

I had to go back to a previous version as my site was effectively broken (almost all of my traffic is mobile). I’ve now upgraded again to the latest version and deactivated all plugins except elementor. I’d really like to get this fixed as I’d like to stay on a supported version of Elementor but I’m struggling to leave the site broken for too long. Would you be able to take a look?

    Hello again @mrmacca,
    Thank you for the Feedback.

I was looking at your site and noticed the Mobile menu is there, but the default Icon from the Hello theme is what’s missing.
In this case, please set the next Features/Experiments to this state:

    • Inline Font Icons -> Inactive
    • Hello Theme Header & Footer -> Active

After this, ensure you Regenerate the CSS & Data (via the Elementor > Tools menu) and flush any optimization and/or cache data.
    This should work.

Also, in case you keep having issues, to continue assisting you without affecting your live site: you can roll back Elementor and create a Staging site to troubleshoot the situation.

I hope this can help you solve your issue.
    Let me know any comments.

    Regards.
