• Hi,
I am using this theme as the basis for a custom theme but have a problem with the way the mobile menu works. In testing (both on desktop simulation and tablets and phones) I find that the first time you open a mobile menu and click parent item and click through to another page all submenus stay open when the mobile menu is clicked again. On desktop all submenus remain open if you widen the browser to non-mobile menu as well. This can be fixed by refreshing the page (which also resets the mobile menu) but this doesn’t work on the phone. I checked the theme demo and this happens on that site as well so is something in the base theme itself. Can this be fixed so I can use this theme or let me know what the fix is so I can implement it? It is pretty confusing to site users. I have screen shots from the theme demo page but can’t upload here.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @heathergm

Have you tested on Apple devices?

    Send me screenshots [email protected]
    or https://dinevthemes.com/contact/

If possible also make a video recording of the screen where this error is detected and upload it to Google drive with a link for me.

    Hi Dinev,
Yes, tested on Apple and Android and Windows. This is particularly an issue on tablets where rotating to landscape causes all menus at the top of page to be open simultaneously and overlap each other.

Sending screen shots, will try to get you a video once I am out from under my deadline. It looks like some sort of conditional of when screen size changes is needed to turn off the “always show” part of your dropdown-hover.js but that is just a guess.

    Thanks,
    heather
