Mobile Logo not updating

    I have updated the logo, but the mobile version of the website still shows the old logo and doesn’t update. I have cleared the cache after installing WP Total Cache and also tried to re-upload the logo from the mobile version but no luck.
    Also tried to deactivate all the plug-ins without success.
    I have the OceanWP theme activated.
    Can someone please help?

  • Hi, suggestion:

    1. rename the logo you want to use on your PC or desktop
    2. delete the one you’ve got in your media folder
    3. hit save then refresh to make sure there’s no logo appearing ie you’ve really deleted it
    4. Upload the newly re-named one, to the correct place in customiser, hit save then refresh and check what’s now appearing on your website.

    BTW there are 2 places in customiser where logos can be uploaded (?)

    1. Customising > Header > Logo, and
    2. Customising > Header > General, so, possibly you’ve deleted the logo in one place but there’s one in the other one that’s still showing.

    I used the first one for my logo but check that the second one’s empty after you’ve re-saved your fresh logo.

    (Not sure why there are two locations, perhaps the one used depends upon header settings, etc?

    Sincere apologies for the long wait, we have been a bit shorthanded and on the other hand overwhelmed with work during this covid situation.

    Since I’m unsure what was actually the old and what the new logo, I will start by saying that I’m seeing the same logo on your mobile menu as for the desktop.

    Is this the logo that is supposed to be displayed or not? Are you still experiencing issues on your end?

    Hi all, thanks for the replies!
    I actually managed to fix it – sorry I didn’t update my post. I ended up running the set up wizard for the template and once completed it solved the logo problem.
    It’s showing the same on desktop and mobile now.
