For this I installed the WP Mega Menu, but nothing works.

    Hello @dorien6,

On mobile, the menu becomes a hamburger menu which is not clickable but your brand logo remains clickable on mobile unless you have disabled mobile menu from WP Mega Menu options.

You can navigate to WP Mega Menu settings and make sure CSS output it set to “Head”

Next, navigate to appearance > menus then enable mega menu and assign a mega menu theme, choose a location for your menu, hover over individual menu item to enable mega menu on each menu item and click save

    Hi Munayam,

Thanks a lot for your explanation! Yet, my brand logo isn’t linking to my homepage.

(I installed Max Mega menu instead of WPMM, which looks more user friendly).

    – I haven’t disabled the mobile menu in the Mega Menu
    – the CSS output I set to “Head”
    – I have enabled Mega Menu on each menu item (the symbol Mega Menu is visible)

    These things I don’t understand:
    – What do you mean by assign a mega menu theme? Do i have to add a mega menu widget in Appearance > Widgets?
    – Which location should i choose to make my brand logo clickable and linkable to the homepage? I get the option ‘Primary Navigation (Now set to: Gozzo Nav)’

    – Below the Mega menu adjustments (page left): i enabled it. But (under ‘Occurrence’) do i need to choose ‘hover target’, ‘Hover’, or ‘Click’?
    – At ‘Theme’ I just have the option ‘Standard’
    – below the Menu Structure below Menu settings (page right): do i have to enable the option: “Automatically add top level pages to this menu”?
    – And do i have to enable “Show location”?

    Hope you can help.
    Thanks again!
    Regards,
    Marcella

    Hello @dorien6,

If you view the image I shared earlier you will see the mega menu enable and mega menu theme assign option on the left where you tick a checkbox and a radio button. Yes you need to choose a location for your menu, to which location depends on where your theme allows but not necessarily enable add new top-level pages to this menu option or else you will keep on adding new pages.

Brand logo is clickable only when you populate the url field.

You can visit our documentation to know more.

    Hello Munayam,

Thanks! I did exactly what you explained and it’s clear how to assign menu items in the mega menu. But the only thing i want is to make the brand logo on each page of my site on the mobile version clickable.

The only option for that is in Word Press in > Theme options > Navigation settings. Here I uploaded the Mobile Navigation logoand the Navigation Logo for Desktop. For both twice (for regular and for retina display, which need to be twice the size of the regular). For both options there is no url field. My brand logo at the desktop version is working though, but mobile isn’t.

In the print screen you gave me: “Brand logo is clickable only when you populate the url field.” I can’t find ‘Brand logo’ in Themes Settings. Is this only optional in the Premium versin of WP Mega Menu? Because I don’t installed the Premium version.
If yes: are there no options to make the brand logo clickable for mobile version in the regular WordPress menu?

    Marcella

Hello, I just found out that in Word Press in > Theme options > Navigation settings, the navigation setting is set on ‘Signature navigation’. When i set on ‘Default WP navigation’ the Mobile brand logo is clickable. But I prefer the lay out style of ‘Signature navigation’. Perhaps here it isn’t possible to make the logo clickable….

    Hello @dorien6,

I think you have conflict with the theme’s menu location. Choose a different location to see if that helps or create a custom new menu then choose a new location for it to display.
