Mobile issue, skip search bar

    Hello,

    I already changed the settings on icon on mobile, search bar on desktop.

    The problem is that when I click on the mobile search icon, it opens the search box instead of the search overlay.

    When I then click on the search box then it opens the overlay.

    Is it possible to skip the appearance of the search box and make the search overlay appear directly when I click on the icon?

  • Hi @matteomarca99,

    You are using the Astra theme. We have integration for it and I think this is enabled in your FiboSearch options. Integration replaces the default search bar with FiboSearch and uses classic layouts. So the FiboSearch appearance settings don’t work.

    1. To make it work you should go to Appearance -> Customize -> Header Builder and completely remove the Search block from the header.
    2. Then you need to add HTML/Text Block where you can use shortcode and add there [fibosearch layout="icon"]
    3. Remember to set the mobile breakpoint to e.g. 99999 and you can turn off the integration in the FiboSearch Starting tab.
