I have tried and tested the Pro version on different sites, environments (server types) and consistently face this problem which I hope can be fixed in future release that the Mobile images (often auto-generated by WP) are never exported to the final static site.

As a result, a lot of post covers (Featured img) will not appear in mobile site but will appear fine in Desktop.

The only way-around i found was using free version, exporting an offline file, then including wp-content folder manually in the package so no images are missed and uploading that. But I really want to move to Pro version with Github + Cloudflare deployment and it fails to export mobile images in alot of cases. Looking forward to get some help and understanding on how this can be resolved.

    Thankyou

    Hey @mustafashe1kh,

I just replied to your ticket within pro support, but to give others a bit more insight, I am posting the reply here as well:

Handling responsive images is really a weak spot of Simply Static at the moment.

We are working on it, but it’s pretty hard to handle it reliably without a headless browser solution (to detect lazy-loaded images on mobile devices).

For now, I would recommend adding the wp-content/uploads/ directory in Simply Static -> Settings -> General:

    Cheers,
    Patrick

    Is it a common issue?

I use the Asta Theme and I had to make a complete export. Was not working just in the Article edit to send it to the static site.

Beside of this – it shows up jut fine on “mobile” and desktop…
