YES, that took out many features and design of my page.

well, how/ where did you generate the “above the fold CSS”? have you tried generating it elsewhere? it all boils down to having the right inlined CSS to render your page before the full CSS is available ..

i used sitelocity… i got good page speed, mobile friendly, but had all my ads deactivated… you can assit me determine the right css.

well, try one of the other tools maybe, sitelocity can sometimes give … weird results? ??

I have the speed and mobile friendliness that i need, now i want the ads to reappear… any suggestion?

well, first question is what is causing the ads not to appear.

-> are you still using something to defer CSS (Autoptimize or other)? if so, do ads appear when not deferring CSS?
-> do ads appear when loading the page with ?ao_noptimize=1 added to the URL (which disables AO for that request)?

i’ve actually given up, at 37% pagespeed, good mobile friendliness, and positive ads display, am tired of trying everything i could, let me manage it this way before i worsen the problem… am hoping when i move to VPS hosting, my speed will improve…

these codes were found above the fold of my style.css file, should i just replace them with the css contents rather than importing them with this code? are these codes not render-blocking? what if i manually import the codes and remove the @imports? what do you think?

imports are considered a performance issue indeed, so if you can remove them that would be a good idea, absolutely.

removing them throws up other challenges, i believe my speed will increase when i move to VPS hosting…
