Mobile Display Company Name and Address

    When I go to my site on a mobile phone, at the bottom in footer section, it is displaying physical address. I do not wish to display that and searched everywhere to see where it is coming from.

    I was thinking it was coming from the WooCommerce>Settings>General but since I have updated that field to blank, it continues to display on my mobile device. It does not appear on tablet display or PC.

  • This will probably be controlled by your theme. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    Oh thank you for the reply! I am on one of the default ones “Twenty Seventeen” that was on my Bluehost server.

    This does not appear to be the original 2017 theme and you are not using a child theme, so I’m guessing that you’ve opted to customise the 2017 theme itself. FYI, that’s considered a big no-no. What you should have done is create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin if you just wanted to make some minor cosmetic changes.

    As it stands, you now have a custom theme and we have really no idea what you have changed, added or removed. So there’s not a lot we can do to help.

    Thank you for the response! I was not aware I couldn’t customize my site/theme. I am still learning. I was able to figure it out finally in the staging environment. Thank goodness! When in customize mode, I found the unwanted information on the Blog and Cart pages as well and was able to edit and remove.
