We have implemented your gallery here:

It works really well so thank you!

I would like the option for mobile devices to open the lightbox on first tap instead of invoking the hover state of the thumbnails. This seems to function this way when viewed through responsive mode in Chrome and Safari for desktop, but on a mobile device tapping a thumbnail reveals the hover, then tapping again launches the lightbox.

    Is this expected behavior?

Is it possible to skip the hover state on mobile only and launch the lightbox? This way, doing a hover on desktop would still reveal the caption, but on mobile a tap would just launch the lightbox.

    Thank you for your time.

    Thank you for your choice!

I think that we can add such mode in future releases. For now on mobile devices we don’t have such alternative modes for hover. Anyway it’s really interesting idea and I’m sure that it’s gonna be implemented in close future.

If you have some other features request just drop a line! We’re really appreciate it!
