Mobile Detect Error

  • With the latest update to the Chat, it has broken our site. It says there is a mobile detect error:

    Mobile_Detect.php. Error message: Cannot declare class Mobile_Detect, because the name is already in use

    When we disable the plugin, everything returns to normal. We are running the latest version of WordPress and PHP. We tried disabling other plugins as well and it did not rectify the problem.

    Hi @scottceisenberg ,
    our plugin uses the class Mobile_detect so it seems like a conflict with another plugin. May you provide us the following in order to proceed with further investigation?
    A) The url of the website which faces the issue.
    B) A list of the installed plugins on your WordPress installation
    C) The theme that you are using on your WordPress installation
