• Hi,

I am for the first time playing with .css using a child theme of twenty eleven. It’s going really well – I have had a lot of success with these forums, but now I am stuck on a few issues that I am sure will be simple for someone out there!

    See: rainbow-jerusalem.org

This one is about mobile compatibility. I actually installed a plugin (WPtouch) in an attempt to fix the issue but the issue remains.

Basically, it is only the homepage which seems to have issues with mobile compatibility. On the regular view the homepage text doesn’t stay within the page, which messes up the view. In the mobile view provided by the plugin (WPtouch), the text is all squashed together and unreadable.

Is there something simple that I can do to the coding around the text that will fix this issue?

    Thank you!!

So, you have a desktop problem as well?

    Hi Andrew,

Sorry. No, I mean that you can choose the plugin view or the ‘other’ view – it’s only a mobile problem.

You can fix your title by removing the &nbsp(semi-colon) and replacing it with an actual space.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you.

I played around with the spacing (I was also fixing another issue on the homepage at the same time) and the issue seems to have been resolved on the ‘regular’ view on the mobile.

The issue on the Plugin view is still there though – the text is all squished together. Any ideas on that? Maybe I should check with the Plugin developers actually…
