Mobile checkout instead of email: any ideas?

Need a quick assist here – A client wants to shift from email to mobile phone checkouts. The idea is to replace the email field with a mobile number, using SMS for verification. I’ve looked at WooCommerce docs and haven’t found an easy solution.

If I understand this correctly, you’re looking to change your login system from email-based to SMS-based.

You can check the Registration & Login with Mobile Phone Number. It uses Firebase to send the verification messages, last time I checked they have a free tier so you don’t need to commit to a plan right away.
