Mobile buttons don’t stay hidden when switching from mobile to desktop views

Just updated to the latest version of WordPress and the AddThis Sharing Buttons plugin (version 6.0.0). When the sharing buttons are enabled with floating left sidebar and bottom fixed position mobile buttons, if you load the page in mobile view, then switch to desktop, the desktop buttons appear, but then when scrolling the page, the mobile buttons re-appear so you end up with both the floating sidebar and the bottom mobile buttons showing. Also, it seems the loading of desktop buttons is inconsistent. Sometimes I load the page and they do not show, and then I clear my browse cache and reload the page and then they load. I can’t provide the prod url on a public forum, but if you email me privately I’ll provide a url where you can see the issue.
