Mobile App Not Setting Expiry

Great plugin!

We primarily use the WP mobile app to post updates from our self hosted site.

The problem is that the expiry dates are not set when posted from the app.

I’m assuming this is due to the App not supporting custom meta boxes.

Would it be possible to add an override option that hooks into save_post that automatically sets the expiration?

If there is a git repo I’d be glad to contribute if this is something you’d consider.
