MMR not minifying JS/CSS in merged files

    MMR does work to reduce the amount of external JS/CSS requests clients have to make to my sites, but it doesn’t fully minify the files it merges together. Anything I’m missing here?

    MMR version: 1.8.7
    WP version: 4.8.1
    Server: Microsoft-IIS/10.0 (PHP 7.1.9 with MySQL 5.7.19)
