MLA Stopped working after update

I just updated from version 3.8.3. to 3.9.1, and now MLA is not working.
When I go to the Media->Assistant back end page, and select several images for bulk edit, and click the Apply button; MLA reports back that no changes were detected ‘instead of opening the bulk editor.Furthermore, clicking the Screen Options (or) Help tabs at the top of the page ‘does nothing as well.
I am using WP version 3.9.1.
Upon further checks – where I disabled plugins and then reactivated them one at a time ‘I discovered the plugin causing the conflict was “Shift Nav Pro”.
