    Hi,
    You say in the documentation:

This means that the first step of the process is, of course, uploading the CSV file (or files) you want to use to your Media Library.

I tried to upload the csv file with updates to Media Library but am informed this type of file is not allowed because it’s a security thread.
How / Where do I make this file available to the plugin?

    Thanks for your help

Thanks for your report and for your patience in awaiting my response. I’ve been on the road and away from my computers.

I believe your “not allowed” problem can be solved by applying the solution from this earlier support topic:

    MIME GPX, KML

As I stated there, “I have added a new “Always Use MLA MIME Type” option to the Settings/Media Library Assistant Uploads tab to override the WordPress “security” checks that cause these uploads to fail.”

If you navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant Uploads tab, check the “Always Use MLA MIME Type” box and click “Save Changes” you should be able to upload the CSV file(s) you need.

It looks like you found this solution in your other support topic with this same name:

MLA CSV Data Source Example. How to upload CSV?

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have problems or further questions regarding MLA’s support for uploading MIME types like CSV. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.

Hi David, Thanks for your reply.
I’ve managed to upload the csv file as you suggested.
My problem now is how to apply the changes from the csv file to the image meta data.
This is the csv test file I uploaded

Base Name File Name Title ID post_type
    2021/03/Adia-capi-1.jpg	Adia-capi-1.jpg	Adiantum capillus	39507	attachment
    2021/03/Adia-capi-2.jpg	Adia-capi-2.jpg	Adiantum capillus	39508	attachment

Please could you tell me how to apply this to the image and if there’s errors how do I know what they are?
    Thanks

I have responded to your questions in the related topic you started:

MLA CSV Data Source Example. How to upload CSV?

I have left that topic unresolved so we can continue the dialog there.
