• I guess its working but may have stopped counting. I don’t understand the Description of the settings. I can’t figure out what your trying to describe and what’s the purpose of the Counter Duration.

    Hi NBCosta,

We are regret for your trouble. Actually, the purpose of the counter options and the counter duration is the some of the users have requirement to add page visit increment by Day, Week, Month and year and also users have to specify the how many days, week, month and year. so We have added this options in the plugin settings page.

For Example, I have added this plugin into my site and I have one page like Photos. and in plugin settings page I have selected “count options” as Day and the “Counter Duration” I have added 5 in the field value. Now, you are visiting my site Photos page today. so the plugin will add +1 visit increment by today with your IP Address. Now the same page you visit tomorrow with same IP Address then this visit will not add +1 visit increment for the Photos page. It will add +1 visit increment after you complete 5 days.

As per your above comment “may have stopped counting.”

This seems working fine for me. Please make sure you are running latest version 1.1.3 of our plugin we have fixed some issues on our end in this version.

If user logged in into the site and hit any page into the same browser then the plugin will not increase the page count.

So please try with another browser with the non-logged-in version. I hope this will work.

If you get still issue with the plugin counter option then please let us know.

    Hi!
I am sorry if I am getting into the thread without creating my own. However.
Let me check if I got everything correctly.
The counter duration purpose is to “filter out” an unique visitor from statistics for a specified number of (days, weeks, months, years) adding only one +1 to the statistics. After the specified time is up it will add another +1 if the unique visitor hits the page again. Is that right?

I am asking because I am planning to use this plugin but am a bit confused with the description of features. I need a simple counter and it seems to be the one, however the description is the question.
