I initially installed hCaptcha on the WordPress Forminator plugin, but then I removed it. I installed reCaptcha v2. Only reCaptcha v2 is registered in the settings, and hCaptcha has been removed. The cache has been cleared.

However, every time I refresh the page, reCaptcha appears, but when I refresh again or submit the form, hCaptcha shows up, leading to a mixed situation. Sometimes, only hCaptcha appears, and sometimes reCaptcha.

I tried from different browsers and computers and got the same result.
I didn’t get it on some.

I couldn’t resolve the issue. Can you help?

Hi @fabline,

I noticed the issue on your site that’s odd behaviour. It doesn’t look like a cache issue when inspected, I tried to test in my system to see if I could replicate similar but I couldn’t replicate it. Possible to provide us with the form export so that we can investigate this further?

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud service in the next reply.

Hello,
This issue existed even before adding the cache add-on.

I re-added this form for export, but it still didn’t work. Also, this happens with all my forms, even when I create a new one.

Thank you for the form.

I imported to my lab site with only the Forminator plugin and using the default WordPress theme and I see only Google ReCaptcha.

There is indeed a hcaptcha script on your end https://monosnap.com/file/ceOZolvsAC17UlpKsYloo9NbJN4X9U it may be the root of the issue in case it looks for any “form” tag.

Could you please run a full plugin conflict test and see if make any difference: https://wpmudev.com/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#conflict-test
