Mix of sub- an nosub-categories

    Hi.
    Struggling with a growing product- and category structure in umah.no. Considering subcategories in one or more product categories. But some product categories will remain without subcategories.

    Is there a good way to do this, keeping an understandable navigation?
    What to choose in the product catalog setup (products, all subcats or subcats+prods) with a mix like this?

    Hi there!

    Sub-categories will only show when there are sub-categories, otherwise it will show products. So if some categories have sub-categories and others do not, it shouldn’t be too much of an issue regardless of the settings you choose.

    If you have many sub-categories or many levels of sub-sub-categories, then an alternative navigation system, like links in your sidebar, a more elaborate menu system, product filters, or a more prominent search box, might be a better approach.
