Misuse of WP branding

    Just wondered if anyone follows up instances of misuse of WP branding, as set out here:

    I’m not going to name-and-shame publicly but I’ve seen a particularly bad example that’s just not in the spirit of WP so I was going to follow it up.

    Who are we supposed to report this sort of thing to?

    What’s the misuse? Is it a Fauxgo or something else?

    Not quite, it’s an agency that are using the trademark name and logo as part of their url, logo and company name.

    Ah, one of those. If only the WordPress Foundation had a nickel for each trademark violation. ??

    I should have that saved somewhere, it comes up infrequently… try this contact URL.

    There are some unscrupulous people out there who do attempt to take advantage of the WordPress branding and I think that URL is a good place to report that misuse.
