Mistakes entire post for excerpt when posting new post

    Hi this plugin worked great for me when using the sortcode on my frontpage with my old posts.

    But when posting a new post today instead of picking up and displaying my excerpt it takes my entire blogpost and displays it until there is no more room.

    There is an excerpt availible but it doesnt choose to use it. Works great with my older posts and I havent changes anything.

    Hi,
    it seems that the plugin’s main file has been edited a bit, as I can’t see some html tags in the output.

    Could you please send me via email the “wp-recent-posts-from-category.php” file you are using? Just to make sure everything is correct.

    Could you alse provide the shortcode you are using in that box?

    Hi

    Yes Ive edited the plugin to be able to shoe “read more” on the front page but avoid showing it on subpages where Im also using the plugin but without excerpts. Created a little “If-code”.

    But it worked fine with the current blogposts. Sure Ill send you the edited file along with the shortcode to your “Hello” mail adress.

    It turned out the issue had nothing to do with the plugin.
    There was an issue with categories in the user’s WordPress installation.
