    Good day,

Thanks for an amazing theme, people call me steady to know the name of my theme. Thanks once more.

Please I ran into an urgent problem.

I deleted two images in /themes/mh-magazine-lite/images/ folder. Name of the images are placeholder-medium.png and placeholder-small.png
I also deleted a CSS script in themes/mh-magazine-lite/includes/. Te name of the script is /font-awesome.min.css.

    Now the problem is:
For the image. I re-upload the images using a the exact name, yet it still shows me GTMetrix (page speed test website) 404/410 responses. Is there any thing I need to do after replacing the images?

  • Hello,

I would recommend replacing the entire theme by first downloading a new copy from here.

    One last question please…

I am using a caching plugin and it’s causing a problem for me. The caching plugin causes some missing icons (allschool.com.ng) That’s my blog you see it yourself.

I believe you can help me fix this, please can you kindly tell me the styles responsible for that so I can exclude it in the caching plugin?

Thanks and I look forward to your response.

    Hello,

The icon issue while it may seem it’s due to the caching plugin, it could be due to something else. You can debug it by first disabling all plugins except the caching plugin and test.

Regarding your earlier question, I regret to say this is beyond the scope of our support. There is no easy way to add the files. You need to manually check the missing files and add them. You may also hire a 3rd party developer to assist you with this.

Thanks. I have dubuged the website and obviously the problem is from the caching plugin as everything are same even after disabling the plugin. Check the domain via… allschool.com.ng

    Hello,

I see that the caching plugin is active now and the icons in the menu are visible too. I assume this is resolved?

    Yea it has been resolved.

Recall I complained that i mistakenly deleted /font-awesome.min.css. Well, when I re-upload the style, It solved the problem.

Thanks for you assistance. I really do appreciate.

One last question please, If I buy a premium MH-Magazine Theme, will I lose all the changes I have made in my lite theme?

As many of the settings are different in the Premium version you will indeed lose some of your theme customization settings when you switch to Premium.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!
