Mistake at Chaning Domain Name

    I have installed WP on my own server at https://www.vtln.de. Everything has worked fine. Then I have configured my server in order to connect the WP blog at both domains https://www.vtln.de and https://www.vatolin.de. At last I have changed in wp-admin the domain from https://www.vtln.de in https://www.vatolin.de. But there, obviously, made an mistake. Now I can see my blog on both domains vtln.de and vatolin.de, but with no theme. And If I try co connect wo wp-admin at vtln.de/wp-admin or at vatolin.de/wp-admin I was beeing redirected to vatooi.de/. But there is no connection.

    What did I have done wrong? And how can I fix it?

  • Hi!

    You can change your site URL from the database or make it hardcoded in wp-config.php (in this case it will stay firm until you will remove this lines, so, better to make the change in the database to be sure).

    And it looks like you have SSL, so, you can write ‘https’ protocol instead of ‘http’

    Redirects will be saved in your browser, so, to see if your site is working fine without redirects, you will need to open a browser in incognito and check your site.

    Thanks a lot. I’ve directly corrected it in the database.
