    Hi,

there is something I have not understood. In the settings section I can set the number of days for the “Cookie Duration”. Reading the information next to it tells me:
“This means, if a user comes to your site via an affiliate link and purchases something within 30 days, the affiliate who referred the user will receive commission for it.”

But on the other hand in the standard “Terms and Conditions” I can read that:
“If they leave the site, come back later on their own, and then purchase a product, you will not earn a commission.”
I thought that is what the cookie is supposed to to? To track if someone comes back. Or does the cookie get deleted if the customer navigates away from the site?

    Many thanks for additional information.

Hi, What you read about the cookie duration is right. We will just have to update the standard terms & conditions in the next release. In the meantime You can just edit it in the settings.

    Thanks. Now I understand.

Of course then it would be great, if something like

    [cookie duration]

could be used as a variable in the “Terms and Conditions” text.
