Missing XML tag

    This plugin seems to generate many sitemap files that have no urls. Google reports this with an error message: Missing XML tag
    Here is one example: https://www.eatdrinkdeals.com/sitemap-pt-post-2011-12.xml
    In that one, there are posts from 2011-12 but they are all in a category that I marked to be excluded. It appears that the plugin creates the file if it finds any posts, even if they are all excluded. It seems that the file should not be created if there are no urls going into it.
    Please advise how to avoid this error.
