Missing wp_posts etc in a WPMU -> WP3.x upgrade

Yeah, the db structure is slightly different on the main blog between an upgraded wpmu and a 3.x network install. Don’t mix them. ??

And the wp-config file checks to see which one.

suspected that might the case. User role issue might have been me, spent a bit of time going loopy between ourselves and the plugin writers for the Wiki plugin. I’d rather not have to try and export the whole lot and import it somehow into a virginal install.

Well, not sure if its a related issue, but I hadn’t thought of looking in the wp_x_options! lookee see what I found:

Which could be conflicting with or even overwriting default roles potentially I guess.

Thanks Andrea for the hint, I have done a basic cut and paste of the virginal wp_options value for wp_user_roles, all the roles are now back in.

Odd prob though, think it has to have been the plugin overwriting the values, but why?
