  • Hello,

This type of problem could be caused by a conflict with the theme or plugins, in this case, you can perform these steps below:

    • Clear the site cache
    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

Then you can reactivate the plugins one by one until you find the cause of the issue,
You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Let us know if there are any questions.

    hi @ihereira ,

If I just delete the product. then all the sku will be orphaned. Won’t it be auto-draft and after 7 days I can just delete orphaned variations. Will that work?

Is there no other way to add the original sku back?

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing back!

If I just delete the product. then all the sku will be orphaned. Won’t it be auto-draft and after 7 days I can just delete orphaned variations. Will that work?

If the variations aren’t currently connected to the variable product, then it might not change anything if you delete it.

Is there no other way to add the original sku back?

Please check in the export file if the variations have the original product SKU in the Parent column. If not, add it there and then import the products – I’m hoping it will update the lost variations and link them to the parent product.

Alternatively, you could remove those variations directly from the database. Editing the database can break your site, so keep a full backup at hand and proceed with caution. Here’s a tutorial I found online: https://kristianbrown.co.uk/delete-woocommerce-products-using-skus/

    Hope this helps!

    Hi @paulostp

I checked the exported file, the variations have the original product sku.

I’ll check out the database option.

    Thanks for sharing!

    @alyab

Kindly keep us posted on how it goes.

We look forward to hearing from you.
