    Hey,

I have some missing translations for German language in Events Calendar plugin. On the single events pages are some words like: “Venue”, “Phone”, “Email”, “Ticket Price”, “Start”, “End”, “Website” and the Date is formatted in English, but I need the german Format for the Date. I found, that in the folder “/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar-de_DE.po” are some translations, but not all of them are in the file. But if they are translated in the file, you cannot see the translation on the page. So all these words are in english and I need them in German.

    Howdy stouDy,

The .po and .mo files often need updating from the .pot before they contain all of the strings. This can get a big complicated. We have a guide that walks you through how to Translate The Events Calendar. It relies largely on the www.remarpro.com community here, and is naturally a bit of a slow process. ?? But the guide walks you through all of it.

    Does that answer your question?
    Cheers!

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer.

I exported the new German files and replaced the old files, but now I have simply the same English strings as before, allthough the strings in the files are translated. They are just not translated on the page itself. Thats so confusing, because I can see the translations when I open the .po file.
In addition, I have some English Date Format and need the German Date format.

    Still have my problems ??
