    Hi,
after installing wp-ecommerce I had to correct some translations (German) in the modules for shipping costs (Choose country, message “Please click compute if information changed for example). Some text I found in the language files but with foult line numbers, some text is directly written in the .php-files. So I have to correct this after every update. What can I do to hold the changes?
Some text i couldn’t find anyway (country list shows “Please select a country”, can’t find the place where i can translate this in German).

  • Hi there,

Ray here with WP eCommerce Support.

Just a few advice on keeping your change in tact. You can save the .po file for your langauge. And for all the php files that you have edited, I would save them to a different folder and do a diff using tools such as winmerge. Once you have updated WP eCommerce, you can diff the new update and reapply your changes.

    Thank you,
    Ray
