    Hi Timothy,

Really need your help on this one.

Just cannot figure out why GlotPress (translate.www.remarpro.com) does not include the translation strings below:

“Excluded Tables” (source module-strings.php) – Used in Database Backup settings.
“Included Tables” (source module-strings.php) – Used in Database Backup settings.
“Enable XML-RPC” (source module-strings.php) – Used in WordPress Tweaks settings.

(Note the strings “Disable XML-RPC” and “Disable Pingbacks” which are both also present in the module-strings.php file ARE INCLUDED).

Also running WP CLI “wp i18n make-pot” command does include all three (missing) strings into the .pot file …

This makes me heavily doubt the integrity of GlotPress’s string search functionality.

I understand you do not manage or control what GlotPress does, but this is an issue to be aware of. As is, the three missing strings cannot be translated in the iTSec plugin.

Thanks for the ping @nlpro. Yeah, I’m not sure at the moment what would cause this but I’ll see if I can find out.

    From Peter Smits in Slack.

as far as I can see the lines mentioned were not translated, and one was set to fuzzy, because it was translated incorrectly. I modified the lines mentioned, so they should be sent as update to the installations

It looks like those three strings are appearing in GlotPress now.

    Ah, great.

I can confirm the 3 strings are now included on translate.www.remarpro.com and all three translations are also available in the iTSec plugin.

    Thank you.
