    Hi there,

first thanks for your plugin. I think it′s great and the customization options are good. As I′m offering a bunch of TLDs, here′s a list of the missing ones or the ones I have problems with:

    .cat (error message)
    .ch (error message)
    .co.au (not supported message)
    .com.es (not supported message)
    .com.mx (not supported message)
    .es (not supported message)
    .firm.in (not supported message)
    .gen.in (not supported message)
    .ind.in (not supported message)
    .mx (not supported message)
    .net.au (not supported message)
    .nom.es (not supported message)
    .org.au (not supported message)
    .org.es (not supported message)

It seems that this problems occur with the country TLDs. Could it be because I try to access them from Germany and some are not supported for my region? Except .cat and .ch (they are showing “error message”). Do you think you can add this TLDs if it′s not a limited region aspect? That would be awesome and I will surely recommend your plugin so or so! ??

    Thanks for your support!

Some TLDs are fixed or added with the current update of the plugin:

    • .cat and .ch (needs port 4343 opened) should work now.
    • .net.au and .org.au are added, .co.au seems not to exist (https://www.auda.org.au/industry-information/au-domains/).
    • .firm.in, .gen.in and .ind.in are added.
    • For .es (and its second-level domains) access will only be enabled for IP addresses authorised by Red.es. Therefor they are not supported.
    • For .mx (and its second-level domains) I did not find a whois server available or it’s not working.

Hi, thanks for the fast update!

.ch still shows an error message on my site. Can u confirm?

So it means that all .es for example also .nom.es is not searchable? Only from spains location itself?

I mean .mx should exist somehow, right? It′s the TLD for Mexico. When I search for example at the page from siteground: https://www.siteground.com/domain_names.php#tab-1 it is possible…

.co.au (sorry, my fault, I meant .com.au and that works)

    Thanks again!

Which error message (click on whois link) is shown for .ch? Maybe port 4343 is blocked on your server. But I am working on an solution for that.

The .es TLDs are only searchable if you are autorized by red.es (“Access will only be enabled for IP addresses authorised by Red.es.”).

For .mx there is a whois server (whois.mx), but it is not accessible via whois query. Id did not find an alternative whois server yet.

The error message for .ch is the simple error message. Just saying “error” as an output in the textbox after clicking “search” button. Output is then “example.ch error”.

Is it a problem on my site?

    Thanks for answering all questions!

With the current version (1.5.2) of the plugin .ch should work now.
