• Okay my website is coming along. I have 2 twenty eleven child themes One with the edited site the way I want it and the titles are missing. The other is exactly the same except with titles so I can use it for News and other blog like catagories. all looks good except when I click on archives and pick a month the titles go away like its using the main/ default template. Is there a setting or some way to fix this. All the posts are saved with the right theme attached but when I use archives, or catagories the titles go away. Please help. site is https://www.alreadytindie.com Thanks.

  • You do know that you can’t have two child themes active at once, don’t you?

    Thread Starter already indie

With a plug in I was getting it to work. I activated the one called main and left the one called blogs unactivated. then I added a plugin called page theme and that lets me choice what theme I want under pages and posts. There is a box in a second row called theme and when you click on it, it lets you click on a theme. But I noticed that it is a little screwy Lookis like it wants to selct all three.

Should I be altering the parent theme and take out titles in the child theme. All I want is to have all my static pages not have titles. and all news stories and other blogs have their titles so people know what they are reading and looking for…. please help
