Missing temporary folder with image upload

  • I recently switched my WordPress site from a Windows server to Linux (Godaddy is my host). The switch was mostly smooth but now I can’t upload images. Whenever I try to upload an image I get an error message that says: Error – Missing a temporary folder.

    Is this a WordPress issue or a Godaddy error? Any ideas on how to solve?
