One of the taxonomies that we’re using on the website is missing from the list of taxonomies in Relevanssi (I’m referring to the “Indexing” tab in Relevanssi). The taxonomy has already been added in our php area on the website, but the taxonomy is not in the list. We need the taxonomy for “Broadcaster” to be added to the list.

For this link (https://peabodyawards.com/award-profile/little-richard-i-am-everything/) the broadcasters are CNN and HBO Max, so the post should show up in search results when those terms are searched for on the site. But I’m not seeing “Broadcasters” as a taxonomy option in the Indexing tab for Relevanssi.

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Relevanssi uses the WordPress get_taxonomies() function to fetch the list of taxonomies; the only restriction is a short list of excluded taxonomies. That should include all taxonomies. If a taxonomy is not listed, there may be a problem in how it’s defined. Can you please show me the code you use to define the taxonomy?

Looking at your site, it seems the CNN term is in a taxonomy called “event-type”, not “broadcasters”, based on the CNN archive page body class: tax-event-type term-cnn term-1208. Does the event type taxonomy appear in the list?

Ahh event type is available in the list of taxonomies. I checked the box for it and rebuilt the index and that fixed it. Thanks so much for your help!!
