Missing Tables for WordPressMU

When I try to login to any of the sub-sites, WP says tables are missing and shows a Repair button. I’ve tried it on two sub-sites and both repairs fail.

WP is installed in \wordpress. The site defaults to \. I had a sweet time getting the .htaccess file to work correctly with sub-folders, but it is working.
