Missing Submitted Link?

  • Hi,

    This might be a new issue but I just received 2 e-mails from Link Library notifying me of user submitted links that needs to be moderated. I went to “moderate” from the plugin but there were no new links awaiting moderation. Did a research using the title used but couldn’t find them under “Links”.

    Could this be a bug? I am worried that other submissions could be lost too.

    PS: I tested front-end submission of a new link and noticed two links were added in the plugin “moderate” page one with a category and one without. Please see the screenshot:

    Sorry for the long time to response. I was away on travel when you sent it in and have been trying to catch up ever since.

    Have you tried looking in your site’s database admin tool to see if the record was recorded at all?

    For the test you did that created duplicate entries, did you select an existing category or were you trying to create a new one?

    No worries and welcome back :).

    I didn’t check the database but I tried to check for the link under the links page and couldn’t find it there.

    Regarding the duplicate entries, I selected an existing category.

    I think I have corrected the duplicate entry issue that you were seeing. The fix will be in a new version out in the next few hours. For the missing link, has this occurred again?
