Missing slash breaks Image Browser

I am working on a multilingual WP site (d-intl.com), and have encountered what seems to be a bug in the Image Browser that prevents it from playing nicely with any language except the original. The problem seems to be a misssing slash in the URL of the navigation buttons, which reads:
https://www.d-intl.com/vis-comica/nggallery/image/viscomica_2013_32_en?lang=en/
If I key in this modified URL, it works as expected:
https://www.d-intl.com/vis-comica/nggallery/image/viscomica_2013_32_en/?lang=en/
I conclude that the URL without the “?lang=en” part is lacking a trailing slash, which is hopefully an easy fix.
I am on Version 2.0.33 of NextGEN Gallery.
I use WPML for multilingual capability, which works just fine elsewhere, and since NextGEN generally provides me with what I need, I would hate to abandon it. Please advise (fix ??
