Missing shordcode buttons.

Hi!
I did noticed that Shordcode button that comes with many different themes don’t not work CKEditior. I did contact my theme developer and he said it can be fixed but:
“I think the easy way to resolve this (as I have not downloaded this plugin yet and my plugin examination list is already 100+) is for someone to ping its developer, and ask him for the hook (file, line in code and the code itself) for placing buttons in his editor. Get back to us with that info and we should be able to assist from there.”
Can you help, please?
