    Hi!

I want to use Compliand to add Google Tag Manager as describe here:

    https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/

But although in the “Statistics” section I have checked “Yes, and Google Tag Manager runs this script”, in the following “Statistics – Configuration” section the settings to set Complianz to inject the snippet and to set the GTM ID do not appear.

What’s happening here? And how i can solve this?

Thanks a lot for your support.

    Best regards!

    Hi @carlosblazquez4global,

Most-likely you have an integration with a different Tag Manager/Analytics plugin activated (under Complianz > Integrations), so Complianz assumes that you will use that plugin to handle the placement of the snippet.

If you de-activate the integration with that Tag Manager/Analytics plugin under Complianz > Integrations, the field to enter your GTM container ID will re-appear in the Wizard.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi, @jarnovos.

It’s exactly what you say: I disabled the “Woocommerce Google Analytics Integration” plugin integration and the settings already appear.

But just some comments for improve your awesome plugin:

    – “Woocommerce Google Analytics Integration” is designed to use GA, not GTM.

    – While this was going on, I have been using WP Google Analytics Events in order to inject the GTM snippet. But Complianz don’t have integration for this plugin, right?

    – In both plugins you can select not to inyect any kind of snippet. Perhaps Complianz could review the configuration of both before disabling the settings.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hi @carlosblazquez4global,

I will have a look how we can have a hybrid solution. With these integrations we suspect someone who’s using GTM, will load Google Analytics with GTM as well.

For this specific integration (WooCommerce GA) I will test the hybrid version, which is easy to create and release it on the upcoming update if it works.

If you want to try a version, let me know,

    regards Aert
