Missing “search results for:” on search results page

The developer of the theme probably took it out.

I see that the developer has it on their demo so that’s probably not the case. I see you’re using the Child Theme. What happens when you use the Parent theme?

Good idea to try! Switching to the parent theme didn’t bring it back. It’s probably something I have done in my CSS customizations or in the functions.php.

I just tried loading the site again with the parent theme activated, and it DOES show the line “Search results for:” when the parent theme is active instead of the child theme. I guess I may have not refreshed things enough before.

Might have had to clear cache. Switch back to Child, I’ll check source there.

You must be using a custom template for that page too because I remember this morning your search page being full width, not 3 columns.

Yah, when it is the child theme, search results are full width. When it is the parent theme, search results have a sidebar on the right. I will leave it on child for now.

Right. So you must have a fullwidth template in the child that’s overriding the parent and thus doesn’t have a search result title either.
