Greetings, the search button in the search widget went away with the upgrade to 6.7.03. I inspected the source code and see this: “<input type=”hidden” name=”wppa-searchroot” class=”wppa-search-root-id” value=”1.3.4.6″>” if I change the code in the browser to “type=”button””, and “value=”Search”” it shows the button and works the way it did 2 or more versions ago, before another problem with the search button. I’m not sure how to change this code permanently, but having a search button seems necessary. Please advise.

The way you do will destroy the entire search mechanism.

The search widget is intented to display the same way as the normal wp search widget.
If you do not see the search button, after entering the search word(s) press enter.

Please show me a link to the page that shows the search photos widget, and, pls add (temporary) a wp search widget in the same sidebar, so i can see if it does what it should do.

If your theme is weaver ii, there is a fix (that may also work on other mis-behaving themes)
