• Orders received in Woocommerce: 11

    Orders received in GA4 – 3

orders received in UA – 4 (although 7 views of the order confirmation page)

The tags are all correctly set up in Tag Manager, as evidenced by the fact we’re getting some conversions.

Transactions work when I put through a test just fine.

I’m OK with missing out on some conversions, but not this many. And not OK with even fewer somehow being received in GA4 vs UA. I’ve never known GTM4WP to miss conversions like this.

The missing orders all seem to be coming through the main payment gateway (Mint Payments) – but it shouldn’t matter – the issue isn’t with the session resetting, the issue seems to be GTM4WP not sending events when the order is received by the platform.

What is causing GTM4WP to not fire the UA purchase event in 7/11 and the GA4 purchase event in 8/11 cases, and how do I fix this?

  • Same issue here. Something has changed. GA4 is not catching any purchases for 2 of my stores… App is updated and GTM tags are all set up. What is weird is when I do a test purchase in GTM, the purchase event fires and GA4 picks up the purchase.

    Same here

add_to_cart and begin_purchase event are being picked up, but add_payment, add_shipping_info and purchase event are not being caught

Like tomasc1 above, my test purchases are going thru just fine?
