Hi there,
And thank you for the very useful plug in.
after installing it, I placed an example order. using the “Test Events” in Facebook “Events Manager” I checked that the value and the currency are being recorded as can be seen here:

I thought that everything was fine, until I got an error from facebook saying that “One or more of your Purchase events is missing a value and currency parameter. This may affect your return on ad spend calculation”
as can be seen here:

What am I missing in the instructions?
Why do I see that error?

About your issue, please make sure you don’t have any other website that is using the same Pixel ID or make sure you don’t have any other pixel code installed on your website.

Thank you @antoscarface for writing back.
I made sure that this is the only Pixel that is on the site + that there are no other websites that are using this Pixel.
Do I need to do something in order to add the purchase value data to the pixel?
I really appreciate your help, and I really hope you can respond to us quickly as we have been waiting for almost a month to test the plugin .

Hi,

the value and currency parameters should be already added by Pixel Caffeine in Purchase events. If this happens, generally it is because of some customization in the theme, or another plugin, or if you add an event in the “Conversions/Events” tab.

Now, you can use the Pixel Helper Extension in order to find where and when a Purchase event is fired, without any parameter. Install it and try to visit your whole website, in order to find if a Purchase event comes up.

Also, try to click into “See affected URLs” in the Facebook error message https://i.paste.pics/68140b2e6a0a6ffb599b9b68ce1e6adf.png in order to find where this message was triggered and check it with the Pixel Helper.
